This summer I signed with a new agent, Cheryl Ferguson of the Ferguson Literary Agency.  She is currently marketing three manuscripts of mine:

Beyond the Seamist
The Silver Wheel
Reluctant Goddess

After working on non-romance projects for almost four years, I decided it was time for me to return to my first love and write a historical romance.
Beyond the Seamist was inspired by my visit to the National Museum of Ireland in 2004.  I was especially enthralled by the Viking display and decided to write another  Viking-Irish romance, although set a little later than STORM MAIDEN, which was my first exploration of this fascinating world.
Beyond the Seamist tells the story of Ailinn, an Irish princess from southwest Ireland.  Ailinn's family is killed by one of her father's rivals and she ends up in Viking Dublin on the verge of being sold as a slave.  Magnus Gunnarson, a young Viking seaman, observes her plight and decides to help her.  He has few resources besides determination and bravery, but that doesn't stop him from his gallant attempt to free Ailinn.

They must survive a horrific storm at sea and many violent confrontations before they can begin to explore the feelings growing between them.  But even as they come to love each other, duty and pride threaten to keep them apart and they must endure more trials before they find happiness Beyond the Seamist.

The Silver Wheel is a historical fantasy set at the time of the Roman conquest of Britain. The book tells the story of Sirona, a young Celtic seeress who must confront the destruction of her world using ancient knowledge and the magic of the Old
Ones, the aboriginal race of northwest Europe.

Sirona possesses the ability to see the future, as well as other gifts passed down through the women of her line. She seeks to turn aside the disaster she foresees and
use the magic of her mixed heritage to protect her people from the invaders.  She is aided by Cruthin, who is gifted in traveling to the spirit world, and Bryn, the warrior who
loves her.

I would describe Reluctant Goddess as a "chick lit/time travel/fantasy".

Dani O'Donovan, a graphic artist from Chicago, is visiting Ireland when she falls into a passage grave and is transported back in time to bronze age Europe.  She soon discovers she possesses magical abilities and learns she was sent to this time period by aliens.  They expect her to use those abilities to change the course of human history.

She has many adventures and finally ends up on the vast grasslands of the steppes.
There she encounters a formidable and yet irresistible warrior named Kazoumal.  He and his people come to believe Dani is a goddess, which is good, since it appears she was sent there to save them from catclysmic destruction.
